What to expect on your RYA VHF / SRC Assessor course?
- Be prepared to fully participate in discussions with the Trainer and other delegates and to participate in the lessons given by your peers
- Your subject knowledge will be thoroughly tested to ensure you have the requisite depth and breadth of knowledge
- You may be asked to deliver a five-minute presentation on any aspect of the syllabus
- You will be asked to complete a written assessment paper that covers various aspects of the marine radio course
The Trainer will provide feedback at the end of the course and either recommend you as an RYA SRC Assessor or give you an action plan. If you are issued with an action plan, this will be discussed with you during your debrief.
